It was here at the end of the 19th Century that far-sighted investors like Hermann Gruson and Friedrich Krupp laid the foundations for trade names of world renown. Stranding machines have been manufactured in Magdeburg since the beginning of the 20th Century.
Whether it be as a supplier of individual machines, complete technological lines or complete works for the production of electric cable or steel wire rope, SKET Verseilmaschinenbau GmbH is valued as a partner in the cable and wire rope industry in 35 countries on all five continents.
| Our company operates from a 40,000 square metre site where traditional and newly developed machine systems for cable and wire rope production are designed and manufactured in our production and assembly areas of over 8,000 square metres. Linked CAD/CAM work stations and fully integrated processes supported by a computerized production, planning and control system are standard. |
