Universally acknowledged for the excellent quality of the strand produced on them, our double twist bunching machines types MSDC and MSDN are typical of SKET machines in use throughout the world.
The key features which characterize these machines are the special attention paid to wire and strand guidance, the way in which optimum use is made of the wire's own material characteristics and their bow - free design.
In recent years alone, several hundred such SKET double twist bunching machines of various types and sizes have been supplied.
Our most recent innovations relate to the closing of wire rope and the compacting of steel wire strand using double twist technology.
Likewise, as a developer and producer of stranding machinery for the cable industry, SKET machine systems set the technological pace. The MKZT/S 700 Central Strander has, for example, been responsible for revolutionary changes in cable production.
The avoidance of centrifugal forces, the use of container pack pay-off technology and, in particular, the process integration of stranding and loading have made available rates of productivity and product quality in conductor production which were previously unthinkable.
We are proud of such success, particular when viewed as a continuation of a company tradition going back over a period of over 150 years and characterized by generations of outstanding technicans and engineers, their experience and inventive spirit.
